Ardscoil Rís offers Afterschool Study (2 hours) from Monday - Friday during term times. Supervised study is not generally available for first year students. Night Study (3 hours) is demand led. Further details are available from the school office.
Supervised study
Afterschool study runs each school day for two hours after school and is predominately used by the exam years, 6th Years and 3rd years, as well as 5th Years. Students have the opportunity to get something to eat after the school day ends and before study begins. For many students it has become a key part of their study routine as they prepare for their exams and over the years those benefits can be seen.
Afterschool study runs over two sessions from September to Christmas and from January to May, with notifications given in relation to deadlines for payments and so on. Night study is demand led.
